ABOUT US
FHRD is a nonprofit corporation with the following specific goals:

• To assist in the development of a statewide workforce development training program network to facilitate dissemination of "best practices" information throughout Florida.

• To promote and facilitate collaborative agreements among public and private agencies relative to workforce development in Florida.

• To assist in the accessibility to workforce development customer service programs and activities in Florida relative to career counseling and educational planning, support services, employability skills training, adult education, basic skills and technical training.

• To collaboratively deliver training programs and activities for Florida's workforce development program trainers, managers and related community state/agency personnel.

• To facilitate appropriate research relative to workforce development and recommend new programs and activities needed to enhance Florida's economic development system.
